Reporting to: Marketing Channel Manager
Be the Creative Force Behind Wales’ Most Dynamic Community
of Entrepreneurs
Are you a design-savvy creative with a passion for social
media storytelling? We’re looking for a Design & Marketing Assistant who’s
enthusiastic about supporting all aspects of our marketing efforts – from
visual content creation and social media to event promotion and administrative
support.
Working across Tramshed Tech’s three core pillars – Spaces,
Ventures, and Skills – you’ll play a vital role in bringing our brand to life
across multiple locations in South Wales. In this fast-paced, dynamic
environment, you’ll support our brand, comms and marketing team with everything
from creating eye-catching TikTok content to promoting events that connect our
thriving tech community.
What You’ll Do
Visual Asset Creation
- Consistently apply existing brand guidelines across all
marketing materials - Design and produce visually engaging content for use across
digital and print channels - Develop branded social media graphics and templates that
reflect our established visual identity - Design and format email campaigns and newsletters in line
with brand standards - Create digital and print collateral including brochures,
flyers, on-screen assets, and pitch decks that maintain brand consistency and
visual clarity
Content & Social Media Management
- Support content creation aligned with social media strategy
and content planning - Edit TikTok video content to maintain brand consistency and
quality standards - Schedule and co-ordinate TikTok content publishing
- Assist with broader social media content creation and
scheduling across platforms - Track and analyse social media performance metrics
Events Marketing & Research
- Collaborate with the events manager to compile monthly event
schedules - Maintain and update the communications calendar with event
information - Promote events across digital platforms following
established brand guidelines - Conduct social listening and competitor monitoring
activities - Competitive analysis and market research around new
opportunities - Identify strategic event attendance opportunities and
potential gaps for company events
Administrative Support
- Manage calendars and coordinate scheduling
- Perform data entry and maintain CRM systems
- Tag and organise leads within CRM platform
- Manage document filing and organisation systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Creative individual, ideally with graphic design skills and
an eye for visual storytelling - Strong communicator who’s confident in both written and
verbal communication - Flexible and adaptable person comfortable managing multiple
tasks in a dynamic environment - Detail-oriented team player who takes initiative and works
independently when needed - Proactive and hands-on approach with positive attitude and
eagerness to learn - Effective time management and organisational skills
- Content capture abilities
- Some marketing knowledge or experience preferred
- TikTok experience and social media savvy (particularly
content creation and editing)

Desirable Experience & Tools:
While not essential, familiarity with the following tools
would be advantageous: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, HubSpot
CRM, Social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok), Google Analytics,
Google Search Console, Notion, Figma, Meta Business Suite

Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend training and company meetings as required
- Undertake additional marketing duties as needed, including
blog writing, PR support, event attendance, and other marketing initiatives
that support business growth - Conduct all work in accordance with Health & Safety
policies - Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free working environment
- Raise any health and safety concerns immediately with
management
