Dragon LNG is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Graduate. This role provides hands-on experience within our Commercial function, offering exposure to commercial operations, contract management, and procurement activities, whilst also interacting with other areas of the wider Dragon LNG business.

Developmental training opportunities are available as part of this role. This role offers practical experience within our Commercial function, providing valuable exposure to commercial operations, contract management, and procurement activities. It also includes opportunities to collaborate with other areas across the wider Dragon LNG business.

The role holder will also have access to developmental training opportunities to support their professional growth.

The Commercial Graduate will support the Commercial team with a range of responsibilities, including general administration, assisting with procurement activities, liaising with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders, and contributing to research and analysis in contract law and procurement practices.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop commercial acumen in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The role responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Company Buyer in procurement activities.
  • Assisting the Commercial team in contract and commercial activities, liaising with the wider team to facilitate shipping and other related activities, assisting to monitor stakeholder compliance to agreements, maintaining filing systems for stakeholder correspondence and commercial agreements.
  • Liaising with customers on behalf of the Commercial Advisors and ensuring effective customer service.
  • Coordinating and administering customer meetings.
  • Assisting with the commercial system (DNAS), liaising with the Operations team and analysing data as required.
  • Conducting internal audits of department processes.
  • Undertaking research and analysis, including reviewing case law and regulations related to contracts and procurement practices.
  • Supporting the Commercial team to ensure any Policies / Procedures are updated.
  • Supporting in the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Assisting with process improvements and contributing to the development of best practices.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • Degree educated (or equivalent), preferably but not necessarily in a relevant area such as Commerce, Law, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance or Accountancy, or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient user of IT, specifically Microsoft Office applications.

This position requires attendance at our site in Milford Haven. Remote or hybrid working arrangements are not available at this time.
